Arlene David Obituary
Her husband, Edward C. David, died Oct. 30, 1998. Arlene and Edward had celebrated 64 years of marriage in December 1997.
The couple founded David’s Electric Inc., Emmaus, in 1946, and continued as its owners for 51 years, until 1997.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late C. Fred and Emma (Kehm) Schmick.
Arlene was a former member of the Upper Perkiomen Saroptimist Club and the Blue Spruce Riding Club in Alburtis.
Surviving is a daughter, Patricia E. Zentner, Alburtis.
Other survivors include her grandson, Harold A. Zentner III, Alburtis, whom she helped raise; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew A. and Miranda M. Zentner.
She was predeceased by a brother, Charles E. Schmick.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. Call Thursday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
