Arlene Snyder Obituary

Arlene J. (Godshall) Snyder, 79, of Lower Alsace, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023, in Laureldale Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Luke A. Snyder, who passed away September 22, 2020. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Walter Godshall and Ruth (Weider) Schaeffer. Arlene attended Reading High School. Arlene was an assistant manager for Bachman's Pretzel's for over 20 years, and in her retirement worked at Petco. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and gardening. Arlene is survived by her children; Debora Smith, wife of James, Melinda Hinnershitz, wife of Michael, and Jodi Weldele, wife of Charles Jr., as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and her siblings; Callie, Walter, Dawn, Mark, and Suzanne. Arlene was predeceased by her brother Darryl. A celebration of life will be held privately. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
