Barbara Jean Candelaria Barbara Jean Candelaria, 58, died June 24, 2021 in her Reading residence. Born, December 31, 1962, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John Rudy, Jr. and Anna (Somerdak) Rudy. Barbara was the wife of Edwin S.R. Candelaria. She was employed with Burlington Coat Factory for many years. Barbara loved music, especially Elton John; she was a Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Phillies fan and loved animals. Surviving are her three children: Justin L. Candelaria, Michael A. Candelaria of Lebanon, and Ryan M. Candelaria of Sinking Spring. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Riley; and her two sisters, Carol A. (Rudy), wife of David C. Guldin of Georgetown, DE and Deborah S. Rudy of Muhlenberg Township. Barbara will be sadly missed by her close friends Dave and Tina. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
