Barry was an integral part in our growth as a young Christian couple looking for a way to serve in the church. He showed us not only by example but also by teaching Scripture to us on how we are needed to serve others. It started us on our way not only to be involved with the youth at Mohn's EC Church but to serve others in various ministries in the churches we have been involved since those days from 1989-91.
We miss our time with the friends we established over those two short years and still kept in touch with many years afterwards.
Our memories will always be there such as when Barry and Flo came to Ephrata Hospital to help us greet our daughter Diane into the world 31 years ago. Susie and I looked forward to watching Rachel play basketball. And will never forget my Saturday mornings in the church basement for the men's Bible study and yummy treats such as Gayle's sticky buns.
We will always be grateful for the Rebert family opening their home to a young couple from Texas and making us feel like we fit in right away.
In our prayers and thoughts always.
