Benjamin Fox Obituary


Benjamin F. Fox, age 80 years old, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, in Manor Care Health Services, Laureldale.

He was born in Ruscombmanor Township on the family farm, the son of the late Elam B. Fox and Ruth (Freyberger) Fox.

Ben graduated from Oley Valley High School in the class of 1956. After high school he served in the Brethren Volunteer Service.

He was a member of the Wyomissing Church of the Brethren. For many years, he was the owner of a Snap-On Tool franchise. He enjoyed farming the family farm. In the Fox family he was considered their historian.

Ben is survived by two nieces, three nephews and two sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Elam F. Fox, Mark F. Fox; and sister, Mary F. Fox.

A viewing will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12th, from Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Road, Wyomissing. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy D. Speicher officiating. Burial will be in

Viewpoint Cemetery, 1483 Shoey Road, Mohrsville.
