Betty J. Kunkel, age 81, of Hamburg, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in Berks Heim.
The wife of the late Lynn C. Kunkel, who passed on September 13, 2012. Born on June 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph Loy and Mary (Ely) Loy.
Betty was known for her catering and worked many years as a waitress. She also tended bar at the Fleetwood Fire Company Social Quarters.
For many years, in the summer Betty and Lynn would move from their home in Perry Township to the Blue Rocks Family Campground in Greenwich Township, returning home in the fall.
Survived by her children, Linda (Yenser), wife of Larry Levan of Myerstown and Kevin L. Moyer, husband of Patricia A. Moyer of Hamburg. Other survivors include five grandchildren: Robert, Mason, Cindy, Tammy and William. Also eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. from Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be private.
