Carol Dierolf Obituary


Carol A. Dierolf, 76, passed away May 26, 2018, in Exeter Greens, Exeter Township.

She was the wife of the late Samuel Paul Dierolf who passed away July 7, 2008.

Born November 1, 1941, in Oley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Alice (Rohrbach) Griesemer.

She was a 1959 graduate of Oley Valley High School. Carol was employed by the Pleasantville Diner and the Oley Turnpike Dairy, working 30 years in the food industry. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Spangsville. Carol enjoyed sewing, cooking, going on fishing trips, and most of all, adored her family.

She is also survived by her son, Bruce Samuel, husband of Sharon (Luft) Dierolf, of Boyertown; a grandson, Brian

Michael, husband of Sarah (Pennypacker) Dierolf, of Exeter Township; and a great-granddaughter, Morgan Ashley

Dierolf. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles, husband of Sandra Griesemer, of Oley Township, and Larry Griesemer, of Green Hills.

She was preceded in death by two sons.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 31st, at 11 a.m. in the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 423 Main St., Oley. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville.
