She was the wife of George Apsokardu. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Susan M. (DeLaney) Boyer.
She was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed traveling, bowling and going out to eat with her friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 sons: George Apsokardu Jr., husband of Patricia, Bern Twp.; William S. Apsokardu, Muhlenberg Twp.; Michael Apsokardu, husband of Julie, Shillington; and Thomas J. Apsokardu, husband of Michelle, Mt. Pleasant; 1 brother, William E. Boyer Jr., widow of Joan E., West Lawn; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Sonon, Janet Serba, Patsy Himmelberger and Suzanne Woomer.
Viewing from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Tuesday May 27th from 6:00-8:00 PM. Trisagion prayers at 7:00 PM. Rev. Fr. Thomas Pappalas, Proistamenos will officiate. Graveside services in Bornemann Mausoleum at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00 AM. Please travel directly to the cemetery.
