My family's condolences to your entire family on the passing of Charles. He was truly a great man when measured by the love and joy he gave to others. He was my father's cousin and I knew him from my childhood slightly, then more as an adult when I worked in Reading. Always he had a story or joke. It was abundantly clear that he was one of the lucky few that get to marry the love of his life and he will be with her now. How he enjoyed his home and the seasons and seeing you all grow! It was too sudden and tragic but surely he would not have wanted it to happen anywhere else than there, with family, on the land he loved.

Dear Marianne, Donna, Jessica and Jayme, Our family was deeply saddened to hear of Charles passing. We all have such fond memories of him. Loved hearing the trumpet and harmonica in church. Charles was always so kind and compassionate. He loved the Lord deeply and it was demonstrated to all in his presence. We will all miss him, but know that he is resting in Jesus, and have the hope of seeing him again. Please know that we are praying for you during this difficult time. Your family is special to us. Sincerely, David, Ida, William, Melissa, Bryan and Bethany Otis

My Uncle Charles "Chuck" was a wonderful and compassionate man. I have so many memories to help ease my grief and am blessed I have the most special memory of the last time I saw him before I left him, he told me to wait he wanted to show me something...the something was a teddy bear he had since he was a small boy and the smile he had on his face at that moment was the BEST...I will carry what moment with me always...as well as "his twin" my son Josh who my grandmother Jane and him always called "Mr Loder"
