Cody Gipprich Obituary

Cody G. Gipprich, 38, of Shillington, was tragically taken too soon on May 12th. He is the husband to Jami M. Gresh, married June 8, 2019. Born in Reading, he is the son of Tacy M. (Behm) Gipprich, of Shillington and the late Gregory O. Gipprich. Cody was employed for the past 3 years as a Maintenance Manager for Western Berks Water Authority. A 2001 graduate of Governor Mifflin, H.S., Cody loved motorcycles, 4-wheeling with his buddies, backyard grilling, decorating for Christmas and Halloween and especially working on the house that he and Jami made a home. To know Cody was to love him. The world was a better, kinder place with him here. He was the brightest light, kindest soul and first to jump in to help whenever anyone needed it. Many people will go a lifetime and will not experience the joy of knowing someone as kind and authentic as Cody. In addition to his loving wife and mother, Cody is survived by his brother - Chase R. Gipprich, of Shillington, his in-laws - David L. & Amy M. (Rossi) Gresh, of Lewis, DE, his dog - Preston, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews from the Gipprich, Gresh, Behm and Rossi families. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 5:15 – 8:00 PM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremations Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Funeral services will be held at Klee Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM officiated by Rev. Richard Clement. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. Funeral will be available via webcast at www.kleefuneralhome.com, go to Cody’s obituary and click on the ‘Webcast’ tab. The family would prefer that all floral tributes please be sent ONLY to the funeral home. Please honor Cody’s life by contributing to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. So sorry. Cody was such a great guy. I was his neighbor when he and Jamie lived on Second St. I unfortunately didn't get to know him real well, but he and Jamie were great neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all, even the ones that didn't get to know him very well. Rest in peace Cody. You were one of the best! Sincerely Karen Stott.

Prayers to all the friends and especially the family, his loved ones. I knew him back before he graduated. He was a fantastic person with a wonderful soul. My heart hurts to know he and those close endured this. I pray you can find comfort in the memories, that's what he'd want, never to see those he cared about hurt. Bless you all.
