Corey Kissinger Obituary
Corey D. Kissinger, 62, of Spring City, formerly of
Hamburg, husband of Patricia A. (Leef) Kissinger, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016, at the Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carol and Charlotte (Wallace) Kissinger.
Corey played bass guitar for the bands Sounds, Inc.,
Shaky Jake, Hurricane and Uncle Drew.
He retired in 2014 from his role at Kissinger Associates as Director of Engineering. He was compassionate, patient, witty and inquisitive. He loved nature and had a lifelong curiosity about the sciences.
Surviving along with his wife, Patty, is one son, Christopher D. Kissinger, husband of Rachael (Rhodes), of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Darryl Kissinger, husband of Michelle; and one sister, Diane Achenbach, wife of Randall.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Corey was one of the best co-workers. He was caring, and funny. I loved working with Corey and he was missed when he retired. Much love and Condolences to the family in this hard time. He was a great person and the world is now less one great soul.

I was so sadden to hear of Corey's passing. He was a good friend during my years at Kissinger. We had may conversations about our hummingbird visitors and as I sit in the garden today each hummingbird reminds me of Corey. My heart breaks for his family. Patty Darryl Diane Cherie Michelle and Joe know now he is with our beloved Charlotte and will watch over you until you meet again.
