Darryl J. Brown

Darryl J. "Jay" Brown, 56, of Fleetwood, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Sandi (Christman) Brown with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Robert B. Brown Jr. and Judy (Billitz) Brown, Fleetwood, PA. Jay graduated from Fleetwood High School and attended The Pennsylvania State University. He proudly served his country in The United States Airforce. Jay was a former councilman in Leesport, was a member of Berks County Patriots, and a season ticket holder for Penn State games for 25 years. He loved music and enjoyed music trivia. Jay was a self employed appraiser for 20 years, owning his own business Axiom. In addition to his wife Sandi, Jay is survived by his children; Sydney Brown, and Elijah Brown. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Brown, husband of Diane, his uncle, James Brown, husband of Elizabeth and cousins Addie and Ellie, his aunt, Trudy (Billitz) Liebensperger, wife of Bruce and cousin Kelly, and numerous other cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, and great-grandparents. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am with services beginning at 11:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading PA 19606.
