He was the husband of Janice L. (McEwan) Kloc. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Walter and Caroline (Horst) Kloc.
He attended Reading High School.
David was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He worked as a salesman for Exide General Battery, retiring in 1991.
David loved fishing, boating, his pets and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Anthony Capelli, Lower Alsace Township; Damond, husband of Jennifer Kloc, Brecknock Township; Tara, wife of Ronald Kozak, Lower Alsace Township; and Leslie, wife of Andrew Rabie, Bloomfield, NJ; two siblings, Leonard Kloc, Muhlenberg Township; and Daniel, husband of Kim Kloc, Wyomissing; and five grandchildren: Lauryn, Derek, Jillian, Logan and Emma.
He was predeceased by two siblings, Irene Skoraszewski and Gerald Kloc.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private. Friends may call Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
