Dawud Abdur-Rahman, 67, passed away Monday, June 5th. Born Edward William Smith Jr. on April 29, 1950, he was a son of the late Mattie Mae (Green) and Eddie William Smith. Dawud is survived by 7 children: Regina Brown, Aneesah Smith, Raushanah Smith, Yahya Abdur-Rahman, Kaamilya Abdur-Rahman, Fajr Abdur-Rahman and Ali Abdur-Rahman. Arrangements by John P. My heart is heavy ,from Allah we come and to Allah we must return. Allah blesses us to be given life to praise him and believe in his imminent wisdom. We wake to expect the unexpected, and believe Allah will bring us through. We cannot question ,and not ask why, we must just humbly submit to his will.
