Dolores B. Clemente

Dolores B. "Dee" Clemente, 60, of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at 4:00 am at Reading Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband Jonathan L. Clemente. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Mrs. Clemente was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Genevieve (Szypula) Nycz. She was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University, where she met her husband over 40 years ago. Mrs. Clemente was an accountant for WGK & Associates in Sinking Spring. She was an aqua aerobics instructor at Body Zone for 26 years; was an archery score keeper; professional bird watcher; and bowled with her husband and teammates for 30 years. Dee loved spending time at the beach by sunning herself and napping. She was a happy and loving person, and she had a positive effect on all lives she touched. Of all of these, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. Dee was a proud mom and matriarch of her family. She shared her love equally with everyone and had a special way of making everyone feel special. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Dr. Jessica G. Cunningham, MD, PhD, wife of Christopher R. Cunningham of Blythewood, SC; Jonathan Thomas Joseph Clemente of Kutztown; Jillian Faylene Phelps, wife of Alexander R. Phelps of Harrisburg; her siblings Thomas J. Nycz, husband of Ann Nycz of Eatontown, NJ; Robert Nycz, husband of Helen Nycz of Cumming, GA; Joanne Nycz of Toms River, NJ and her 2 grand cats Mister and LowPurr. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring, Monday, February 6, 2023, at 11:30 am. Reverend Thomas P. Bortz, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm and Monday from 10:30 to 11:15 am at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church.
