She was the wife of Harry A. Eisele, who passed away March 21, 1998. She was the daughter of the late Gustav A. and Dilla (Kern) Stegeman.
Mrs. Eisele was a 1934 graduate of Reading High School. She was employed at Berks County Institutional District as a supervisor for 22 years, retiring in 1978.
Beanie loved the game of bowling, her involvement and dedication included president of the PA State Women's Bowling Association from 1970-2003. Past president of the Reading Women's Bowling Association for 10 years, past secretary of the Reading Women's Bowling Association for 18 years. She bowled until the age of 89 years of age and bowled a 709 at the age of 64 at Heister's Lane, Reading. She was the founder of PA State 600 Bowling Club, co-founder of PA State Women's 500 Club and founder of PA State Senior Tournament which she ran for 20 years. In 1970, she was inducted in the Reading Bowling Hall of Fame.
Survivors include special friends: Joyce Olson, Donna Fitzkee and Pauline Heintz. She was predeceased by her brother, Adam G. Stegeman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Beanie's memory to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation: P.O. 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
Beanie's friends would like to thank Mark Hawkins Home Care Agency for the wonderful care that was given to Mrs. Eisele, especially Fatima and Mariama.
Services will be in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Friends will be receive 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John's German Lutheran Cemetery, Reading.
