Eleanore was predeceased by her husband Carl K. Waltman Sr. on Jan. 8, 1986.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Wanda (Boczar) Ustas.
Eleanore is survived by her sons: Douglas W., husband of April Waltman, of Spring Twp., David B., husband of Deborah Waltman, of Cumru Twp., and Michael S., husband of Barbara Walt-man, of Kenhorst.
Other survivors include Eleanore's granddaughter, Kelly M. Waltman; and her great-grandson, Bryan.
She is also survived by her step-grandsons, Nathaniel, Noah and Bryce Dutt.
Eleanore is also survived by a sister Joan (Ustas) Erwin of New York and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Carl K. Waltman Jr. on Sept. 23, 1992.
Eleanore was a graduate of Reading High School.
She was a parishioner of St. Stephen's Polish National Catholic Church, Cumru Twp.
Eleanor was employed for 35 years by Tom Sturgis Pretzels, Cumru Twp., as a supervisor.
She also was active at the Mifflin Center for 10 years, assisting with entertainment and activities.
Eleanore loved to travel; she traveled to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii and other countries, she loved to garden, but most of all she loved her family she loved to prepare for the holidays, and have her family near. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to extend their sympathy and respects to the Waltman family on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 239 South Ninth Street, Reading PA 19602. A Wake Service will be celebrated at 9:25 a.m. The Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Polish National Catholic Church, 20 St. Stephens Church Lane, Reading PA 19607. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
It has been suggested by the family that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605, in memory of Mrs. Eleanore A. Waltman.
