Elizabeth Matthys Obituary
Elizabeth (Klein) Matthys, 88, of Douglassville, died April 21, 2016, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
She was the wife of Leon T. Matthys. Born September 10, 1927, in Stamford, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Emily Klein.
Surviving are her daughters: Donna Kellyn of Chappaquiddick, Mass., and Beth M., wife of Scott Cooper, of Douglassville. Additional survivors include her grandchildren: C.T., Brendyn, Brianna, Brayelle and a great-grandson, Chaz.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne Matthys, and her granddaughter, Nicole.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Francis Home, 1123 Whitfield Blvd., West Lawn, PA 19609. Please memo "Elizabeth Matthys."
