She was the wife of Leon T. Matthys. Born September 10, 1927, in Stamford, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Emily Klein.
Surviving are her daughters: Donna Kellyn of Chappaquiddick, Mass., and Beth M., wife of Scott Cooper, of Douglassville. Additional survivors include her grandchildren: C.T., Brendyn, Brianna, Brayelle and a great-grandson, Chaz.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne Matthys, and her granddaughter, Nicole.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date.
