Ella K. Herbein

Ella Kathryn "Kitty" (Thomas) Herbein, 81, of Wyomissing passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in the Reading Hospital. Born in Elkton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late June L. (Harington) and John E. Thomas. Kitty was the loving wife of Terry A. Herbein, Sr., who passed away August 27, 2021. Together they shared 61 years of marriage. She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church. She worked as a Library Aide for Wilson School District for 15 years before retiring. Kitty and her husband, Terry loved to travel and go on cruises. Some of their favorite places were Alaska, Bahamas, California, Costa Rica, and Panama. Also, they enjoyed going to the casinos. Kitty is survived by her son, Terry A. Herbein, Jr., of Exeter, and her granddaughter, Paige Herbein, of Temple. In addition to her husband, Terry A. Herbein, Sr., she is preceded in death by her siblings, David W. Daubert and Donna Kisler. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 12:30pm in Fairview Cemetery, 350-375 New Holland Avenue, Shillington, PA 19607. Pastor Terry Cooney to celebrate.
