Eugene Kochel Obituary
Eugene Robert "Bob" Kochel, 65, of Robeson Township, Berks County, PA, died June 9, 2012 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg, PA.
He was born in Wernersville to the late Henry and Irene (Kupp) Kochel.
Eugene was employed as a reconditioning/towing manager for the former Bayliss Oldsmobile, Reading, and then as a meat cutter for Redner's Warehouse Markets.
He was a past fire chief and trustee of the Gibraltar Fire Company.
Surviving are one brother, Richard Kochel of Reading, one sister, Mary Brown of Muhlenberg Township, one great nephew, Jeffrey, husband of Jessica Kupp, and their children Courtney and Kiley.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, PA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Gibraltar Fire Co., 3351 Main St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., Birdsboro, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
