She was the wife of Daniel A. Yoder, who died on September 12, 1996. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Laura G. (Blatt) Reich.
She was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School. Fay first worked at the Hamburg Center; and then worked for twenty-eight years for Acme in Hamburg, until her retirement.
She enjoyed gardening and had amazing flower beds. Fay also enjoyed sewing, quilting and birdwatching.
She was a longtime 4-H leader and volunteered at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Fay also enjoyed tracing the Yoder genealogy and record keeping.
Fay is survived by one son, Garth A. Yoder, husband of Nancy L. (Herman) Yoder, Auburn; two daughters, Faylene Y. (Yoder), wife of James E. Beltz, Hamburg; and Danielle Y. (Yoder), wife of Michael T. Lanagan, State College; seven grandchildren: Joshua Yoder, Ryan Beltz, Lacy Yoder, Adriene Beltz, Matt Lanagan, Kelleen Lanagan, and Andrew Lanagan; and one great-granddaughter, Ava. She was predeceased by a son, Gary L. Yoder, who died November 1992; and one brother, Bruce T. Reich.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Spies Zion Cemetery, Alsace Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Thursday 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018, in memory of Fay B. Yoder.

Sorry I was not able to be at the funeral. I have such nice memories of going to the Yoder Reunion Committee meetings with Faye. I know she is greatly missed by her family which meant the world to her. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.
