Florence Elizabeth Ritter

Florence Elizabeth Ritter (Aranavage) Born July 29, 1923, she was 99 years old. One of 7 children born to Peter and Eva (Komersky) Aranavage. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by 6 siblings, Anna Aranavage Homiak, Mildred Aranavage, Helen Aranavage Hause, Peter Aranavage, Isabel Aranavage Labenberg and Vincent Aranavage. Florence married Richard Ritter on November 29, 1946. They lived in Shoemakersville and West Lawn, PA. They moved to Largo, Florida, in 1985 where she lived until 2006. Florence and Richard (Dick or Butch) are survived by two children George Richard Ritter (Brenda) and Judith Marie Blank (Clair); six grandchildren, Paulette Denise (Owens) Kohout (Rick), Allison Lynne (Ritter) Clemens (Josh), Geoffrey Richard Owens (Diana), Melissa Anne (Ritter) Haugh (Randy), Kevin Patrick Owens (Joanna), Jeffrey Charles Blank (deceased) (Charlene); eleven great-grandchildren, Cameron Marcelle Kohout, Bailey Ryan Kohout, Joanna Marie Owens, Paul Francis Owens II, Olivia Lyn Owens, Everly Raine Browne, Benjamin Jerimiah Clemens, Jacob Andrew Clemens, Luke Alexander Clemens, Morgan Claire Haugh, Charles George Haugh. Florence is also survived by a sister-in-law, Louise Zechman and numerous nieces and nephews. Flo worked at R M Palmer Candy Factory for 25 years. Flo was be buried with her husband in St. John's Church Cemetery, Gibraltar, Pa. A memorial service will be held 11 am on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Rd., Eagleville, Pa. 19403. Family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions honoring Flo can be made to Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, with Minnich Scholarship Fund on the memo line of check.
