Frank is predeceased by his parents, John and Jennie Madeja; brothers: John, Stanley and Leon; and a sister-in-law, Katherine.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia (Rose) Madeja.
Frank is lovingly remembered by his children: Cynthia Madeja (Judy), of Seaside Park, N.J., Sharon Cooney (John), of Pottstown, and Jill Hess (Ed), of Gilbertsville; grandchildren: Jared and Taylor Cooney and Kelli and
Jennifer Hess; sister-in-law, Nancy Madeja; and many
nieces and nephews.
His children and grandchildren were the highlight of his life and he spent many years attending sporting events and musical concerts with them.
In the early years, Frank helped his parents and brothers with the family business, Madeja's Garage in Pottstown, which can still be seen from High Street in Pottstown
today. He served in the Army during the Korean War era from 1954-1956. Frank was also a longtime member of the Pottstown Elks.
Frank went on to work for Haag Brother's Beer
Distributors and then Frank Smith Beverages in Pottstown before his retirement in 1997.
He will most be remembered for his love of watching birds, his sense of humor, his contagious smile and his
dedication and love for his family.
Special thanks to Holisticare Hospice in Berwyn, Pa., for their loving care and support in Frank's final weeks.
Services will be private with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, Pa.
