Frederick D. Bittle Frederick D. Bittle of Wyomissing Hills, PA passed away August 14, 2021 with family members at his side. Fred was born in Schuylkill Haven, PA on November 14, 1934 to the late Claude and Esther (Hildebrand) Bittle. He was a 1952 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. Fred was a proud USAF veteran before embarking on a successful career in sales. Fred and his wife, Nan, travelled throughout the US and world with friends most notably on motorcycles. Fred was an active member in Berks County HOG chapter, often leading The Wyomissing Hills Memorial Day parade. Fred is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nan (Aulenbach) Bittle, daughter, Polly (Chris) Langdon, Wyomissing, PA and sons, Dan Bittle, Knox, PA and Kevin (Laura) Bittle, Avon, OH. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Jessica Bittle, and the lights of his life, grandsons, Cole and Logan Bittle, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Sylvia M. Caravan. The family would like to thank the Lebanon PA Medical Center for their excellent medical and compassionate care of Fred. A military service will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery where Fred will be interred.
