Gail and I met when she was 17 and I was 20. She was having a get together at her place and they were going to play the Newlywed Game. Since I was a newlywed, I brought along my rolling pin in case I needed it. Well, when she saw what I had in my purse she laughed so bad she cried. From then on we were friends. Even though I was up and down the East Coast for about 7 years, we kept in touch by letters or phone. And when I came home on weekends we would get together. We had some crazy times..
Over the years, even though we lived in different counties of PA, we still kept in touch by phone or texts but when we got together, it was like we were never apart. We just picked up from the last time we saw each other. That is what friendship is all about. I will miss you my friend till we meet again.
My deepest sympathies to her family, especially her children, grand children and great grandchildren. She will be missed. She was a great person.
