Gail A. Yoder

Gail A. (Yoder) Smale, 69, of Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Betty A. (Klingensmith) Yoder. She was the widow of Ronald E. Smale. Gail worked most of her life as a Registered Nurse, last working for Pottstown ManorCare. She enjoyed trips to the beach in Atlantic City, NJ, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, and reading. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Surviving Gail are: 2 sons: Matthew L. Smale, husband of Teri of Sinking Spring, PA; Kerry L. Smale, husband of Jules of Birdsboro, PA; 2 daughters: Jennifer D. Letizia of Limerick, PA; and Stephanie L. Smale of Morgantown, PA; 3 sisters: Carole Ann Young, Deborah L. Fox, Melanie Lu Gratten; 14 grandchildren: Isaac, Addison, Damian, Angelina, Breanna, Alex, Nicholas, Zachary, Michael, Katie, Christopher, Jacob, Morgan, and Paydon; and 3 great grandchildren: Emmaria (Beanie), Mackenzie, and Lucas. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be from 10:00AM â€" 11:00AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be private.
