Gary J. Seyfert Gary J. Seyfert, age 70, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday August 4, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Vikie L. Seyfert Born in Reading, the son of the late Robert H. Seyfert and Betty J. Kenderdine. He was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School Class of 1970. Gary worked at Weis Markets in Kutztown as a meat cutter. He retired after 40 years in 2020. Gary loved all kinds of music, bargain shopping, and being a Pop Pop. Gary is survived by his wife Vikie, daughter Kristi Sobolewski wife of Adam Sobolewski (Sergant USMC) of Greenville, SC, step daughter Jessica Weber wife of James Weber, Fleetwood, PA, step daughter Kristi Rahn, of Phoenixville PA. and step son Justin Rahn partner of Rosemary Barrise of Womelsdorf, PA. He is also survived by his siblings; Gloria Kiebach wife of Kenny Kiebach, Robert Seyfert husband of Lois Seyfert of Reading, PA, Judy Seyfert of Douglasville, PA, Randy Seyfert husband of Jodie Seyfert of Birdsboro, PA, Steve Seyfert husband of Joan Seyfert of Birdsboro, PA, and Scott Seyfert husband of Lisa Seyfert of Limekiln, PA. Other survivors include his grandchildren; Hannah Sobolewski, Connor Sobolewski, Wyatt Sobolewski, Emmett Sobolewski, Radley Hawkins, Kayson Hawkins, Aysa Rahn, Braedyn Rahn, and Makynzlee Rahn. In addition, he is also survived by step children Sean, Tina and Beth, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Robert H. Seyfert, Betty J. Kenderdine and his stepmother Anna LaRue Seyfert. He will be sadly missed by his cat Grace A viewing will be held on Friday August 20th 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 117 W. Main Street, Fleetwood PA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev Ruth F. Doty officiating. Burial will be at New Jerusalem Cemetery.
