I just learned about Professor Innocenti’s passing in Kutztown’s magazine, Tower.
He was my teacher for a course in Western Civilization back in the 1970’s. I remember him as knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. I became an English teacher after graduation, and often thought of him fondly. My condolences to your family.

Dear Brenda and Family,
I have such lovely memories of Jerry from our time together on campus. I believe we met soon after my arrival as a new faculty member and our paths crossed in various committees and University social events until his retirement. Jerry was such a gentleman who always greeted me with such warmth and kindness. I loved witnessing his calm and steady participation in committee deliberations. I was so sorry to learn of his passing. My very best to all of you as you mourn his loss.

I remember my colleague as one of the best minds of his department and in faculty organizations. He was a gentleman; calm, rational, professional and courteous at all times.

Dear Brenda and Family,
I am saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. It was always a pleasure to see him on campus, and as a young faculty member, I looked to him as a kind of moral compass when we served on Senate. Compassionate, idealistic, kind and intelligent -- such gifts he offered! May he rest in peace, and may you feel the support of loved ones, near and far, at this difficult time. Fondly, Lisa

Dr. Innocenti was one of my history professors at KSC. I was always impressed that years after I graduated (1978) and I would visit on campus he would remember my name.
My condolences to his family. He made a difference in many lives.
