Gladys L. Clemens

Gladys L. Clemens, age 86, of Fleetwood, passed away on Saturday October 15, 2022 at the Lutheran Home at Topton. The wife of the Donald W. Clemens who passed in 2016. Born in Blandon the daughter of the late Clayton A. Hertzog and Edna M. (Clay) Hertzog. Gladys was a 1955 graduate of Fleetwood High School. A member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fleetwood where she taught Sunday School. She worked at Carpenter Technology, Reading for many years retiring in 1999. Prior she worked for Glidden Company Reading. Gladys was a member of American Legion Post 625 Ladies Auxiliary in Fleetwood and the Breakfast Belles. Gladys enjoyed playing bingo and going camping. Her hobby was painting ceramics. Gladys is survived by her son Dean A. Clemens of Fleetwood and grandchildren Monica Brown, Matthew M. Clemens and Alexander Spatz. Also surviving are bothers Marvin and Clarence. She was predeceased by her brothers Elwood, Paul, Donald and sisters Edna and Dorothy. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10;00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a memorial service from the Mae A.
