Grace Lape Obituary
Grace A. Lape, 99, passed away in the morning hours
Saturday, September 3, 2016, of natural causes in Stone Ridge Towne Centre, Myerstown.
She was the wife of the late Leon F. Lape, who died
August 5, 1973. Born April 26, 1917, in Heidelberg Twp., Lebanon Co., she was a daughter of the late Ralph A. and Mary M. (Yiengst) Kintzer.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ,
Womelsdorf.
She is survived by her sons, Brian (Carole) Lape, and James (Eileen) Lape; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her children, Douglass Lape and Barbara Oliver; her siblings: Vernon "Bud" Kintzer,
Dorothy Graybill, Miriam Goshert and Ruth Kantner; her grandchildren, Donna and Sherry.
Funeral Services Friday, September 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, with Melissa A. Burkhart, Pastor, officiating. Burial will
follow in Tulpehocken UCC, Cemetery, Millardsville.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

My last visit with Grandma was a little over a year ago. She didn't know who I was, but I fed her her dinner and spent about an hour just talking with her and letting her know who I was. She had moments of recognition and remembrance, but very few. But it didn't matter to me, we were having a lovely visit. I told her "I love you, Grandma !" and she responded with "I love you, too. You are a very nice lady." RIP, Grandma !
