She was the wife of Charles Robert Spohn. They were married 29 years last Nov. 28.
Born in Reading on Feb. 19, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Norma (Quinter) Metz.
Grace was a teacher at Trinity Learning Center for 31 years prior to retiring. She was a member of St. John's UCC, a member of the choir and a former church council member. In addition, she was a member of the Hances Point Yacht Club in Northeast, Maryland, and served on the board of Dingy Mates.
Also surviving are daughters: Kathy Yankowski, Pottstown; Amy Triano, Sugar Loaf; and Laura VanAken, Hatboro; stepsons, William R. Spohn, Shillington; and Robert C. Spohn, Hazel, Texas; and sisters: Marion VanSickle, Lansdale; Louise Meyer, Baltimore, Md.; and Virginia Levan, Reading.
There are also eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at noon on Thursday, March 31, at St. John's UCC, Ninth and Chestnut streets, Reading. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in Charles Evans Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Boyko Funeral Home, Macungie.

Our son, Derek Lehn, had Grace for a teacher at Trinity Learning Center. She was a wonderful teacher and loved the children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Sylvia Lehn (Reading, PA)

I had the pleasure of teaching with Grace at the Learning Center. I remember her enthusiasm, pure joy in teaching the children, and faith. I am sorry for your loss.
