Born at Gray Manor in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of Emily (Friedline) Gindlesperger, Boswell, and the late Earl Gindlesperger.
Mr. Gindlesperger was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was a middle school math teacher for the Pottstown School District, where he taught for 34 years.
Mr. Gindlesperger was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-5; Pennsylvania State Education Association; National Education Association; Superior Teachers Bowling League; Arrowhead Golf Course; and Pikeville Sportsmen's Association.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are three sisters: Joyce Miller, Hooversville, Janet, wife of Bruce Weirich, Boswell, and Joan Gindlesperger, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.
The family is asking you to honor Jack by doing something nice for yourself, your spouse or someone else. Celebrate his life by celebrating your own or contributing to a charity of one's choice.

This is such sad news to hear. Mr. Gindlesperger was an awesome teacher who made math an enjoyable subject during my 7th grade year at Pottstown Middle School. He silently touched so many students in his 35 years of teaching. He will truely be missed in the education community. With deepest sympathy.
