He was a son of the late Vivien and John Lopes.
Jackie served in the Army and the Marines and served a tour in Vietnam.
He was Jack to his family and loved to drive his five Corvettes fast.
He is survived by two sons, Michael, in Virginia, and Mark, in Lancaster. Other survivors include his three brothers: Larry, Houston; and Richard and Ernest David, both of Reading. His brother Robert Lopes predeceased him.
Jackie had four grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces. Jack's long time friend Charles Bailey Jr. was just like a brother to Jack.
Services were already held for Jackie in Florida.

I don't know Jackie or the family, but he must have been an honorable man to have given such service to our country. Thank You to Jackie! Sorry about this loss in your lives to the family and friends of this man.
