My profound sadness and sympathy on his passing.

There is so much to say about PK and his effect on my life, my family's life, and everyone else that he ministered to that it would take a book. He was a unique person with a strong faith that also had the sense of humor to laugh every day, to have fun and enjoy life, to do things that others sometimes found shocking, providing an irreverence to his solemn position as pastor and leader of the church. I always understood him even though I am not sure everyone did. His message touched me, as I know it did many others. He supported me as a young man, and this led me to leading the church council for several years. I mc'd his retirement dinner as my family at the same time as I left Coopersburg for New England for job reasons.

During his retirement, one of his friends was an undertaker from Coopersburg. I remember what he said about PK he said that whenever PK ministered to a family that had a loss, that PK always grieved with that family. He cared.

God speed you on your journey PK. Thank you for the differences you made in my life.

Pastor Koones was a positive influence on my childhood and early teen years. I have many happy memories with my family at Blue Church. I remember fondly several Pet Sundays and Ms. Doubtfire appearances. My condolences to The Koones Family.

Dear Mrs. Koones and Family.
I wish you love and peace during this difficult time. Pastor Koones was a not only a great Pastor during my childhood, but he was a great person that we had a friendly relationship outside of the church into my adulthood. Even when I ran into you both at the dentist last year or 2, he remembered who I was and smiled. I hope you find some peace knowing that he is now at peace and no longer suffering. God Bless you all.

He was a great "down to earth" minister, loved by the young and the old. He was the only, and I mean only, minister I ever knew with purple hair! And that is said in the most loving way. My condolences to Kathy and the kids.

PK was a great man, I know he had been suffering with some health issues for some time. He was a great part of my families memories. Confirmation, youth group, baptisms, and marriages. I'm sure he's having an animated discussion with the man upstairs. RIP

Pastor Koones was a big part of my childhood growing up around Blue Church. His blend of Farmer and Minister always fascinated me as he raised his three wonderful daughters. My condolences to the family and may peace and comfort be with you.

I first met my second cousin, Jim, when attending a Kulpmont High School reunion with my mother, Emma Grace Frye Lindsey. I saw him many times during those reunion years and we exchanged Christmas cards every year. He is missed!
