He resided with his fiancee, Jane.
Born in Lancaster on April 6, 1939, he was a son of the late Olavi Gustav and Elizabeth A. (Lewis) Sola.
He worked in the car industry.
Jim is survived by seven sons: James C. Sola, Michael T. Sola, Keith P. Sola, Eric G. Sola, Nathanial J. Sola, Joshua D. Sola and Jerimiah J. Sola; and four daughters: Wendy L. Crecilius, Becky Bryan, Kristan A. Nunneville and Brianna Sola,
Other survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Brighton, and a brother, Michael L. Sola.
There also are 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata. Final commendation and farewell will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. A visitation will be held Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church prior to the mass.

Eric, I'm so sorry to hear about your father, Please accept my deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow. I'm sure you never expected to read this from someone so long ago, I hope you are doing well dispite the cercumstances,and know that I think of you often.
