She was the widow of Bernard Sher. Born in Sunbury, PA. She was the daughter of the late Luther A. and A. Bernice (Bradley) Fisher.
She was a 1942 graduate of Shillington High School, and attended Wittenberg College, Springfield, Ohio. Jane lived and raised her family in Pennside, later moving to Wyomissing.
She loved to dress and look fabulous, and always had the latest fashion. She was a very caring, loving person with an infectious, sparkling personality.
Jane was an active member of Reform Congregation Oheb Sholom and the Oheb Sholom Sisterhood. She was a past member of the Berkleigh Country Club were she was an avid golfer.
She enjoyed planning and having parties. She had some of her mother's artistic talent and had a knack for interior decorating. She loved summers at Stone Harbor, to travel and meeting new people. She also enjoyed playing duplicate bridge with several Reading bridge groups.
She is survived by daughters, Clara (Hadesty) Breen-Beck, wife of Alfons Beck of Blandon and Holly (Hadesty) Springer, widow of James Springer of Wyomissing; two grandchildren, Aaron Springer and Laura Schneebaum, wife of Jeff Schneebaum; two great-grandsons, Jake and Ryan Schneebaum; two sisters, Jean Johnston, her identical twin, widow of H. Richard Johnston and a younger sister, Nancy Rittenhouse, wife of John Rittenhouse; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She is also survived by numerous step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, J. Austin Fisher.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

You will always be so dearly loved. I find comfort in knowing you are at peace and envision you as the vibrant woman I always knew now busily planning special events in Heaven.
