Jean Moliatu Obituary

Jean V. Moliatu, 85, Reading, passed away April 17, 2009, at 8:05 p.m. in Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the wife of Peter Moliatu, to whom she was married 67 years.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anna Shegina.

She was employed in the cafeteria of the Reading School District.

She was a member of SS Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine A. Shoumlisky, Reading; and three sons: George P. Moliatu, husband of Sharon L., Muhlenberg Township; Terry A. Moliatu, Reading; and Robert J. Moliatu, Cleveland, Ohio.

There are also nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Shoumlisky, in 1998.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in SS Constantine and Helen Church. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may pay condolences on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the church at East Wyomissing Boulevard and Parkside Drive South, Reading, PA 19611, or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Eastern PA Chapter, 2 International Plaza, Philadelphia, PA 19113. Gallman-Sonoski Funeral Home Inc., Reading, is in charge of arrangements.

FAMILY OF JEANNIE,
WE ARE SADDEN TO HEAR OF HER PASSING,I WORKED WITH HER AT READING HIGH ON THE PACKING LINE,SHE WAS ALWAYS SO HAPPY AND ALWAYS HAD A JOKE FOR US EVERYDAY.YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS.SORRY I HAD MISSED IT .THERE ARE A FEW OLDER ONE WORKING THERE YET NOT MANY THAT REMEMBER HER A FEW OF THE OLDER ONES REMEMBER HER WELL
SHE WAS WELLED LOVED BY US,AGAIN SORRY FOR YOU LOSS GOOD PERSON.
