Jean Sando Obituary

Jean H. Sando Jean H. Sando, 90, formerly of Reading, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Berks Heim. Born in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late W. Emerson and Ruth (Harbach) Steinmetz. Ms. Sando was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reading. She was employed as a skeiner at Narrow Fabric for 20 years. Mrs. Sando is survived by her children Kathleen R. Jastrzembski and Don Sando with whom both she resided and her 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Sando, May 17, 2001. Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Monday, May 11, 2020 at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Monday 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimers Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave. 16th Floor, New York, New York 10001 in memory of Mrs. Jean H. Sando.
