I first met Bubba on Jan. 25, 1971 when I started at KU. I know because that day was my birthday. We worked together for 32 years. Everyday I worked with him was a good day. I am heartbroken, we always got along all those years. I loved that big guy and am going to miss him a lot. My heart felt sympathy goes to all of his family.
