Jerry Morris Obituary

"Jerry Edward Morris, 65, of Orangeville, formerly of Reading, died July 22, 2008, in the Bloomsburg Hospital.

Born Aug. 1, 1942, in Elkton, Md., he was a son of the late George Nolan Morris and Louise (Hitchens) Morris Richardson.

Mr. Morris was a former forklift operator at Rockwell International in Reading. He retired in the early 1980s. Prior to his position at Rockwell International, he briefly served in the U.S. Army.

Jerry enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Baltimore Orioles.

He is survived by his three children: Sherry L. (Morris) Riley, and husband Kieran, Leesport; Jerry E. Morris II, and wife Gretchen, Shillington; and Starr M. (Morris) Miseyko, and husband David, Muhlenberg Township.

His four grandsons are Derick M. Degler, Patrick J. Riley, Dillon P. Riley and Nolan J. Morris.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time that is convenient for his family. The Morris family is being assisted by McMichael Funeral Home Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton, PA 17814."
