I work at Reading Hospital and walked out of work today and saw a car window with Jesse's name on it and something made me stop for a moment to look at it. Then I come home and just happened to be looking through facebook and found Jesse's site. I am so shocked about his death. I am sorry I did not know. I met Jesse in the NICU at the hospital and spoke to him for a while about some things he wanted to discuss in my role as a case manager. In a one hour conversation with him there was something that touched my heart and soul with this young man. He was thrilled with his new son. He wanted to make sure everything was being done for Landon. I wish I could have done more for Jesse. He had a very good heart. He had deep love and concern for many people. I am so very sad to hear of his passing. Landon will have many people to tell him what a wonderful young man Jesse was. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

To Jesse's family

I recently learned of Jesse's passing, and I want to extend my heartfelt condolences. To me, he was one of my typical happy-go-lucky 8th grade math students. Jesse was always polite, eager to please, and quick with a smile that accompanied his big friendly eyes. He educated me on what it took to raise and show rabbits at the state farm show. Farming and animals were definitely his passion. I'll always remember Jesse as a caring, fun-loving person.

Jesse lived below me. When he would go to the store he would always ask if I needed anything. And if one of us were having a bad day he would come up and we would talk. Jesse always put a smile on my face. He was a good kid, friend, brother, and loving father. It is so quiet here withouth Jesse, Leon, and Justin. We miss u Jesse. We will see you again one day, until then watch over Landon and the rest of us. We love u. RIP

Our family is a circle of strength and love. With every birth and every union, the circle grows. Every joy shared adds more love. EVERY CRISIS FACED TOGETHER MAKES THE CIRCLE STRONGER.

Jesse will forever be a part of the Eckenroth "circle"...I am sure he has a place in heaven with those who have gone before him.

I did not know Jesse or his family, I just felt led to leave a message. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see a family lose someone so young. I will be thinking of & praying for the family for a long time. May his memories bring you comfort as you move forward. God bless everyone who knew & loved Jesse.

I have so many memories of Jesse since we spent so much time together when he was in school. He made me laugh a lot. I remember the one day he was spending the day in my room in the mods and Leon kept driving by with a truck hauling something and every time he would go past Jesse would become upset because he said he would rather have been out there with the truck than in school. He would then tell me nothing personal Mrs. Fick it's not that I don't like spending time with you. Jesse was a really great and funny young man who's life was to short. To all his friends keep his memory alive and think of all the good times you all shared together. I know I will. RIP Jesse you were loved.

As no words can ease the pain of losing a son, brother, friend, and most of all a FATHER, know that Jesse is in a safe place and is suffering no more. To all that is having a hard time dealing with this tragic situation, know that there are many people here to talk to and as time goes on your hearts will begin to heal. Keep every memory of Jesse close to your heart and know that he has you close to his.

Jesse, i'm going to miss all of the fun times we had back in school. We also had some fun times outside of school. Some of the fun times took place at the farm show and at Earny's. Life is sure going to be different without you man. R.I.P
