John Keith Arters

John Keith Arters, 45, of Exeter Twp., Birdsboro, PA passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of G. Frank Arters, III and Diane M. (Bryan) Arters. John worked in the Meat Dept. for Redner's Warehouse Markets in Douglassville, PA. John enjoyed bowling, golfing, darts, shuffleboard, pool, was an Eagle Scout, and participated with ONE Wish Foundation. He was a member of Monarch, Stonersville, Amity, and Birdsboro Fire Cos., Reading-Pottstown USBC, Knights of Columbus in Pottstown, PA, and Birdsboro VFW Post 411, and many more organizations. Surviving John, along with his parents is his brother: G. Frank Arters, IV, husband of Jennifer; sister: Sara Mae Kershner, wife of Frank; 5 nephews, 3 nieces, and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents: G. Frank and Marion Arters, and Harry and Ruth Bryan A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Abundant Life Church, 400 W. Second Street, Birdsboro, PA. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:00am-11:30am before the service. Burial will be St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Geigertown, PA.
