Although he was born with Cerebral
Palsy, David refused to consider himself handicapped, and lived independently in Stony Creek throughout most of his adult life, earning the admiration
of all who knew him.

David was a 1960 Exeter High School graduate and
attended Albright College. As an avid amateur meteorologist, David collected and analyzed weather data since his youth. He was employed by PA Department of Transportation in highway maintenance for 43 years until his retirement.
Surviving are his cousins: Michael Levengood, Richard Levengood, Marcia Basarab, Christina Lutz, Thomas
Ricker, Richard Funke, Michael Funke and James Funke. Also surviving are his caregivers, Ross Lloyd, Phil Hite and Barry Smith.
He will be missed by all.
David was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Oberlin.
