He was the husband of Louise J. (Sartori) Reaser, to whom he was married for 36 years.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Lewis H. Reaser Sr. and Sara L. (Southworth) Reaser.
He last worked for Crompton and Knowles as a supervisor.
He was a member of the former Zion's UCC, Reading. He also served in the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard.
He is also survived by daughters: Jenelle, wife of Ricky Himmelreich, Newmanstown; Kelly Wertz, Clermont, Fla.; Patricia, wife of Eugene McQuaig, Leesburg, Fla.; and Vickie, wife of Morris Carpenter Jr., Mount Dora, Fla.
There are also 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a nephew, Michael Sartori; and brothers: Robert, husband of Joan Reaser, Lancaster; Nelson, husband of Dahlia Reaser, Cheyenne, Wy.; and Lewis Reaser Jr., Reading.
He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and pets, Rosie and Dusty.
He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Madeira.
Service will be Thursday at noon in Henninger Funeral Home Inc., 229 N. Fifth St., Reading. Viewing will be from 10 .m. until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Aunt Louise,

So sorry for your loss. I have known John and Louise for many years because of my parents. My most fondest memory of John was when he came to the house with a monkey on his back. It was a puppet and it was halarious how he made my sister and I laugh using the monkey. We were just little then. God bless you all and you will see him again.
