John Rosselli Obituary

John W. Rosselli, Sr. John W. Rosselli, Sr., 74, of Mohnton, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, in the care of Reading Hospital. He was the widower of Nancy L. (Hock), who passed in 1994, and the 24 year companion of Kathy Tully, with whom he resided. Born in Reading to the late Peter and Elizabeth (Stock) Rosselli, John graduated from Reading High School ‘65. Working in Real Estate, John opened his own brokerage, John W. Rosselli, Sr., Real Estate, from which he retired in 2015. John was a jokester who enjoyed making his family laugh. He enjoyed music and dancing. Not afraid of hard work, John loved home improvement projects, and, was a true entrepreneur, including flipping houses. He was a volunteer fire fighter for many years. But his most fond memories were the times that he spent with all of his loved ones. His family recalls with fondness his unique take on traditional nursery rhymes that he loved teaching to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also had a deep appreciation of Mountain Dew. John’s memory will be treasured by his children: Lisa M. Johnson (Charles) of Hamburg; Dawn Whitcomb (John) of Akron; John W. Rosselli, Jr. (Lisa) of Sinking Spring; Laura L. Feick (companion of Chris) of Cumru Township; Thomas C. Rosselli, Sr. (Amy) of Florida; Kathy his companion, his step children: Janeen E. Mengel, Kristin L. Tully, and Brian J. Tully; his sister, Susan Stouch of Florida; his 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and more friends than anyone could count. John was predeceased by his wife, Nancy, his parents, and an infant sister, Virginia. If so inclined, please consider offering a contribution in John’s memory to a charity of your choice. Services for John will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611, with burial following at Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to view Thursday, March 25, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again Friday from 10:00 AM until the start of services.
