Born in Reading, he was the beloved son of Joseph T. Sr., and Lori Scargle,
Wyomissing, and Michele V. (Davis), wife of Jason Hinnershitz, Blandon.
Joseph was a graduate of Fleetwood High School.
He was employed by Cartech as a 97 Saw Operator.
Joseph was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and
Flyers fan. He also had a passion for astronomy and music. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching Shark Week and fishing. He truly loved being a father to his daughter and being a supportive brother to his siblings. His strong and positive outlook on life will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Aubree Musser; three siblings: Aidan Scargle, Owen Scargle and Adrienne Beck, husband of Alex Lee. He is also survived by his canine companion, Mason; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joseph was predeceased by his grandparents: Clair Davis, Margaret Davis; George Scargle and Patricia Scargle.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The family requests that all in attendance please wear your favorite sports jersey in honor of Joseph, if you so choose to.

Joe, Lori, Aiden and Owen, I am deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I always enjoyed talking with him on Facebook and running into him at concerts over the years.
