She was the wife of Wayne B. Seidel, Oley, and a daughter of the late Arthur S. and Florence E. (Marks) Luc-zewski.
She was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School, class of 1942, and worked as the secretary for the Dean of Student Affairs at Penn State Berks Campus for 17 years, until her retirement in 1985.
She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oley.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, she is survived by a son, Barry W. Seidel, and his wife, Lynne, Birmingham, Ala.; a daughter, Debra A. Manwiller, and her husband, Kenneth, Oley; five grandchildren: Wendy Y. Coates, Barry B. Seidel, Theresa D. Beeson and Jason and Julie Manwiller; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff B. Seidel; a brother, Arthur W. Luc-zewski; and two sisters, Viola Craze and Mary Quimby.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1076 Memorial Highway, Oley, with the Rev. David R. Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Friedens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, from 10 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, West Lawn Professional Plaza, Bldg A., Suite 10, 25 Stevens Ave., West Lawn, PA 19609.
