Dad, you were always my best friend... Things got rough with the navy moving me around all of the time but I always looked forward to telling you how my day was and finding out about yours. I hardly ever missed a day and still find myself pulling up your number to call you. Your last voicemail to me gets played daily. In three weeks I get promoted and I wish more than anything that you were gonna be there with me putting on my rank. I miss you, I love you more than anything. Sleep peacefully. I promise I'll keep making you proud.
