Kenneth Clark Obituary


Kenneth Eugene Clark, 88, of Wyomissing, died April 7, 2012, in Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

Born in Birdsboro, he was a son of the late Maurice and Elsie Rebecca (Wells) Clark.

Kennneth was employed as road foreman of engines at the former Reading Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 1984.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Kenneth was a sound person for Swing Fever Dance Band from 1985-2001.

He was a member of Union Lodge #479 F&AM-Birdsboro, Rajah Shrine-32nd Degree Mason, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Independent Order of Foresters-Lehigh #1638, NARVRE, Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post 626.

Surviving are his companion of 28 years, Nancy J. Henrich, at home; two sons: Kevin L. Clark of Mount Penn and Joel A. Katz in Florida; a sister, Charlotte Wade of Reading; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 11 AM in the Dengler Funeral Home Inc., 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, PA.

Masonic Services by Union Lodge #479 F&AM of Birdsboro will be held at 10:45 AM.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 AM.

Interment will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.

Dengler Funeral Home Inc., Birdsboro, is in charge of arrangements.
