Lee Weil Obituary


Lee Ray Weil, 92, of Wyomissing, Pa., husband of Virginia R. (Robenolt) Weil, died Thursday at Reading Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, Pa., he was a son of the late Emmanuel B. Weil and the late Martha (Jordan) Weil.

Ray was a professional engineer for STV - Sanders & Thomas, Inc., for thirty-nine years, retiring in 1985.

He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.

Ray was a member of St. James Lutheran Church,

Pottstown, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge #814, Pottstown Moose Club, and Pottstown Owls Club.

Surviving besides his wife is a brother, Joseph Weil, Reading; and a half-sister, Kathryn Wilson.

A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 from Country Meadows Retirement Community, 1800 Tulpehocken Rd., Wyomissing. Officiating will be Rev. Jeffrey C. Stonesifer. Burial will be private in Highland

Memorial Park. There will be no viewing.

Contributions may me made in his memory to St. James Lutheran Church, 1101 E. High St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, Pa.
